West End Cinema

One of the most popular places, that teens visit is the West End Cinema showing all the latest films being released for any age group, however lots of the youth in Boston visit here as teenagers in this generation like to spend their time watching films.

It caters for a lot of people as they hold weekly subtitled screenings, they have a hearing assistance, and also provide audio description on selected films being screened in screens 1 & 2. It has a café and bar with seating area. A place to buy food, drinks and tickets.

The West End Cinema is open 7 days a week.
The box office is open 20 minutes before the first film time and closes 15 minutes after the start of the of the last film daily.
The weekly subtitled films that are screened take place on a Wednesday at midday.

Live broadcast prices depend on the performance.
Children are 12 months - 14 years, Adults are 15+ and Students need a valid photo ID.
Seniors tickets are available to those who hold a valid senior card, senior bus pass or state pension letter.
Babies in arms (under 12 months) go free, children over 12 months will need a child ticket. We are happy to accept babies in arms into U, PG and 12A films.
Proof of age may be required when purchasing tickets for films rated by BBFC (British Broad Films Classification) as 12A 15 and 18.
Live events
The Cinema also holds live events which include:
Opera, Ballet, theatre, arts exhibitions, charity events, live Q&A and concerts.
Cinema hire
West End Cinema can be hired for many things, one of them is children's parties. Children's parties this is where you can have a cinema screen privately it starts at £125 for 2D and £155 for 3D (With glasses).
You can also have PlayStation and Xbox parties at the cinema which costs £95 for 2 hours.
Schools can privately hire a screen for end of term parties.

Boston Bowl

A popular place to visit or a place where a lot of teens go is Boston Bowl. Boston Bowl is quite popular because you can do bowling during any time of the year and it is a fun activity to do, also it can be hired out for birthday parties.
ImageBoston Bowl has 12 lanes and has optional railings for beginners and ramps for children to make sure they can still have fun.
Situated inside there is also the Sliders Diner which is the restaurant where we serve hot and cold meals, also a bar. Which is another reason why birthday parties here are great.
A lot of the time they have a live band or comedy nights

Youth

A lot of teens in our day and age enjoy different things as their are an abundance of different clubs, activities and things to do which interest different people. However this may be difficult as lots of teens now are stuck to their phones or laptops all day. From my own knowledge I have collected lots of different clubs that people can do during the day of in the evening, many popular activities include sports here are some sports club I know of:
  • Dance schools -these are very popular with girls at any range but not so popular with the boys only some young boys and very few teen boys.
  • Football- football is an extremely popular activity among boys and girls, from any age group.
  • Tennis- More popular within children and adults.
  • Water sports- Not that popular, mixed groups of boys and girls.
  • Swimming- this is another popular sport as a variety of different people do swimming.
  • Netball- Mostly popular with teen girls and adult women.
  • Gymnastics- Very popular with girls although it is more younger people that do gymnastics.
